I know this is a very sappy opening title, and you’re expecting a story of enduring love between lovers, or one about the love between family members, but this is not one. Simply for it’s too cumbersome to type something like that out when there are millions of others out there typing exactly the same thing.
What I’m going to type about instead, is a story about a boy and the people he comes into contact with; from the time he was a child, to the day of his death. And as this story is not another sappy story about the ‘stereotypical’ type of love, I’ll be writing about the STRANGERS this boy meets in his life, and how his and their actions shape their lives.
Here’s the first scene, just as the boy was being born, in Surrey, England:
Doctor Crack Jack: Nurse! Pass me the tweezers! This baby is a stubborn one! We’ll need to pull him out with force!
Mother: *skips lines*
Nurse Betty: But doctor Crack! That’s insane! You’ll kill the baby! And perhaps even the mother!
Doctor Crack Jack: Woman, listen to me, I’m one short of 1000 births. I think I know what I’m doing when I asked for the tweezers.
Nurse Betty: Very well doctor, but whatever the outcome, I’m putting you on report for malpractice to the board.
Doctor Crack Jack: Very well then, I’m retiring after this operation anyway, so go ahead, and make my day.
The outcome: The doctor was remanded by the board of governors of the hospital but was allowed to retire without much fuss with his pension. The nurse was commended for her adherence to the rules and was promptly fired from the hospital (their excuse, it’s much better to be eccentric and successful, than being cowardly and reporting the wrongdoing of others AFTER the act has been committed instead of doing something at the time to prevent it from happening) Personally, I agree with the board, for the doctor DID get the baby out safely, otherwise this story would have been over by the First Page xD
